The hidden gap

Many capable students struggle because writing is expected, but rarely taught step by step.

Good ideas, but weak structure

Bright thinkers whose writing wanders — strong ideas trapped in disorganised paragraphs and unclear responses.

Simple sentences & limited vocabulary

Short, repetitive sentences and everyday words that sell the student's real thinking short on the page.

Confidence drops under time pressure

Capable students who freeze in assessments and NAPLAN tasks, rushing or stalling when the clock is running.

When the underlying structure is finally taught, everything begins to change.

A repeatable process

The Lead & Succeed Performance Method

A clear path from diagnosis to demonstrable progress — the same sequence we use with every student, every term.

1

Assess

A short diagnostic reveals exactly how your child reads, writes, and structures ideas today.

2

Identify Gaps

We pinpoint the specific skills holding writing back — not guesswork, but targeted gaps.

3

Teach Structure

Sentence control, paragraphing, and vocabulary are taught explicitly, step by step.

4

Practise Weekly

Structured weekly writing with real feedback turns new skills into lasting habits.

5

Track Progress

Every term we measure growth in structure, clarity, and confidence — and show you.

"Without you, I would never have developed such a passion for poetry — nor realised that rebuttals exist in a persuasive structure. Your teaching proved invaluable."

Real growth · visible progress

When structure changes, the writing changes.

Families often notice the shift within a term — clearer responses, stronger sentences, and a child who no longer dreads the blank page.

Questions, answered

What parents ask before they begin.

Everything you need to know about how the coaching works — and how to take the first step.

What year levels do you coach?

Lead & Succeed coaches primary students in Years 2–6 from anywhere in Australia. Every session runs live and online, so families in any state or region get the same structured instruction and feedback.

How are the sessions delivered?

The flagship Writing Performance Accelerator runs as weekly small-group coaching over Zoom, capped at five students per class so every writer is seen. One-to-one strategic coaching is also available for students who need focused support first.

Do you prepare students for NAPLAN and selective school exams?

Yes. Students are explicitly taught persuasive, narrative and descriptive structure and practise full responses under timed conditions — the exact skills NAPLAN and selective-school writing tasks assess.

How quickly will we see progress?

Most families notice clearer structure and stronger sentences within a single term. Progress is reviewed every term, and the program is backed by our 14-day money-back guarantee.

How is this different from regular tutoring?

This is structured academic coaching, not worksheet help. It is led by a former Head of K–2, trained NAPLAN marker and 2021 NSW English Syllabus contributor, and it teaches the underlying architecture of strong writing step by step.

How much does it cost, and how do we start?

Coaching is billed in 8-week term blocks. Because places are limited, the best first step is a free, no-obligation consultation, where we assess your child's writing and share current pricing and openings.
